Description: The Executive Assistant to the Founder, President & CEO is responsible for conserving the President and CEO, Founder’s time and promotes the organization image by representing the president internally and externally, providing liaison between the president, board of directors, stakeholders, and employees and other assigned duties by the Founder, President and CEO.
Job Title: Coordinator/HBCU Football and Recruitment Tour – Remote Position
Description: The HBCU Football and Recruitment Tour Coordinator oversees and organizes the details for the Annual HBCU Football and Recruitment Tour, this includes travel arrangements, hotel accommodations, transportation, and schedules during the tour. The job requires the individual to manage the needs of professionals and staff involved in the tour.
Job Title: College Relations Coordinator – Remote Position
Description: Promote Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and HCF services to students living in Chicago, IL; Memphis, TN; St. Louis, MO; Indianapolis, IN; and New Orleans, LA through a variety of outreach activities during the HBCU Football and Recruitment Tour, including participation in college fairs, classroom presentations, and information meetings.
Job Title: Senior Vice President for Advocacy – Remote Position
Description: The Senior Vice President for Advocacy directs the organization’s federal and state advocacy program with governor’s office, state legislatures, state departments of education and state and national-level education advocacy partners across the nation. The SVP manages an advocacy team, and interfaces daily with the CEO and Executive/Leadership Team to develop and provide strategic support to federal and state leaders and local advocates on advancing student-centered and higher education policies that transforms education for the 21st century.
Job Title: Senior Vice President for Strategic Communications and Media Relations – Remote Position
Description: The Senior Vice President for Strategic Communications and Media Relations is responsible for the organization’s communications, marketing, branding, media and public relations, campaign promotions, market research, issues management, crisis communication, and marketing-related customer relationship and engagement activities, all essential to enhancing the organization’s brand reputation and community support.
Job Title: Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer – Remote Position
Description: The Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer is responsible for creation of a shared vision that includes strategic direction, development, organization, promotion, implementation, expansion and assessment of all philanthropic avenues to increase revenue, financial support and organizational awareness.
Job Title: Supported Institution of the Month Initiative Program Coordinator – Remote Position
Description: The Program Coordinator role includes the selection, enrollment and coordination of the Supported Institution of the Month Initiative Program at HCF. Other responsibilities include organizing and facilitating training, overseeing the development and execution of opportunities for the partnering schools, and program reporting duties.
Job Title: Events and Marketing Coordinator – Remote Position
Description: Plan, produce, and oversee execution of marking and communications plan activities including media, promotions, website, and collateral materials. Develop materials to deliver the organization’s messages to the public and media. Oversee and assist with organization and coordination of conferences, meetings, seminars, and other events.
Job Title: Scholarship/Programs Coordinator – Remote Position
Description: Under the direction of the Division of College Recruitment and Scholarships, coordinates HCF’s scholarship program. Provides direction and support to the scholarship committee. Works closely with the Division of College Recruitment and Scholarships director and staff to cultivate donor relationships, renew scholarship gifts and to initiate contacts and communications to secure potential scholarship gifts. Awards and provides scholarship gifts to appropriate recipients.
