Paine College Offers Free Summer Chemistry Class for Middle and High School Students

AUGUSTA, GA – Dr. Sardar Yousufzai, Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Paine College and the Minority Affairs Chairperson of the Savannah River Section of the American Chemical Society, will offer a six-week chemistry course for middle and high school students from June 4, 2018, to July 12, 2018. This year marks the 12th year that Dr. Yousufzai is offering the Summer Chemistry course. The objective is to prepare students with basic knowledge for science courses.

The free six-week one-hour course will cover the basic concept of Chemistry through instruction and demonstration. The course will take place on the Paine College campus in Haygood-Holsey Hall, room 220. Middle School students will meet on Monday & Wednesday from 10:40 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and High School students will meet on Tuesday and Thursday from 10:40 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. To register a student for the class click here.
