The HBCU Campaign Fund (HCF) organization was founded in 2012 by the vision and as the brainchild of founder Demetrius Johnson, Jr. In 2015, HCF became incorporated as a non-profit organization which currently serves under the mission to supporting the signficnance of all the 107 historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) in the United States. HCF supports their mission, rich history, presitigious tradition, chancellors and presidents, faculty and staff, students, alumni and supporters. HCF works to campaign funds for student scholarships and services at HBCUs/PBIs. HCF also serves as advocates for students, alumni and HBCU/PBIs in assisting with making sure that HBCU and PBI institutions continue to serve academic excellence for years to come abd in which its operates through five (5) division departments.
HCF serves five (5) Divisions within' its organization, they are the following:
- Division of Social Affairs
- Division of Alumni Affairs
- Division of Recruitment
- Kwesi Ronald Harris Division of Historical Records
- Division of Development
MissionHCF mission is to promote HBCU/PBI existence to the eye of interest HBCU future student seekers and current supporters to bring awareness attention. HCF assist in becoming part of HBCU recruitment to building more enrollment amongst all HBCU's in the near future as well as providing initiative programs in sustaining HBCU students involvement.
